Final Project Reflection
This project (boat project) was pretty different from any other project I have done in any math class before. At first I was struggling pretty hard with a lot of the calculations we were doing with buoyancy and stuff but also enjoyed a lot of the stuff we were learning about boat design. I definitely learned a ton about boats, but not nearly as much about math. The first couple of weeks were pretty easy but also pretty fun. I really enjoyed the first initial tests we did with cardboard boats, but once we moved onto wood things got a lot harder. I am actually really proud that Mckayla and I got the majority of the boat built in mostly just the final week, but I think the boat itself could have been nicer. Granted, we did most of the work in a very short amount of time and it was very challenging, I think if we thought a few things out more, our boat could have come out a lot better, at least in terms of looks.
Semester Skills Fall 2015
Content Skill:
I think that the skill that I have learned and mastered the most this semester was the concept of logarithms and how to write them as exponents and vice versa. Here is some work that demonstrates my understanding of this concept:

Habit of a Mathematician:
This semester, I think I have done best with translating ideas using other forms and contextualizing answers. I feel like these habits/skills show most in the PoWs that I have done:
